IFAD opens selection for the position of Junior Consultant in Brazil

Applications are now open for the selection of the position of Junior Consultant at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to assist teams both in operational activities with active and future projects, as well as in knowledge management, Monitoring and Evaluation, South-South and Triangular Cooperation.

The consultant will be supervised by the Country Director of IFAD, and will support the operations of projects such as Paulo Freire (Ceará), Pró-Semiárido (Bahia), Dom Helder Camara, Daki Semiárido Vivo, Aksaam, Innova-AF , Sow International, among others.

To compete for the vacancy, the candidate must have a master's degree, preferably in the areas of rural development, economics, international relations, agronomy and the like. Experience in areas such as climate resilience, nutrition and food security projects and targeting (women, youth and traditional communities) will be an asset.

Experience of at least two years working with IFAD, GEF and GCF development projects, from conception to implementation, as well as fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English, will be mandatory. The selection process will be based on interviews based on the selection of the submitted CVs.
