Applications for the contest that will choose the name of the application developed by the Aksaam project – Adapting Knowledge for Sustainable Agriculture and Market Access are now open. Beneficiaries of projects supported by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) throughout Brazil may participate, submitting proposals with up to two names for the new platform. Two smartphones will be delivered at the awards, one of them to the author of the winning name, and another through a lottery in the second phase of the contest where a popular vote will be held. Registration is free and can be done on the Aksaam website, through THIS LINK , between February 23 and March 15.

The application developed by Aksaam will be the first among the projects supported by IFAD in Brazil, and will bring vast content produced from successful experiences in the field, such as publications, videos, news, audios and good practices with the most varied themes and technologies. Through the new platform, users will be able to download almost all the content available on their mobile devices, and be notified every time something new is made available on the APP.

But the interaction with the new platform starts even before its launch, as future users and future users will help Aksaam to define the name of the application. The creativity of each and every one will be taken into account, and the relationship of the proposed name with themes related to the northeastern semi-arid region.

In the first phase of the contest, candidates will suggest up to two different names to be chosen by the evaluation board. Of these names, the five most voted by the bank will move on to the second phase, which will be a popular vote through Aksaam's Instagram profile (@aksaam_br). The contest will consider the winning name the one that received the most votes among the comments of the official voting post.

There will be two smartphones delivered at the awards. The first will go to the author of the winning name at the end of the second phase of the contest, and the other smartphone will be drawn among the people who voted in the official post.
