Aksaam launches new website and announces development of Knowledge Management application
The new website of the Aksaam project - Adapting Knowledge for Sustainable Agriculture and Market Access - is now live - which starts this Wednesday (26) a new stage with several resources, news and a lot of content available for reading, downloads and interactivity . The page has been completely redesigned, providing the user with a more intuitive and easy-to-navigate experience.
In addition to the news about the actions carried out by the projects supported by IFAD in Brazil, the new Aksaam page brings three new resources available to users, with dedicated spaces for audios, videos, good practices and stories of beneficiaries of IFAD projects in Brazil .
In the “Radio Aksaam” session, all episodes of the Podcast produced by the project team can be heard directly on the website, without having to connect to the Spotify app. In the “Gallery” tab, photos of events held by partner projects, and videos produced by both Aksaam and partnerships are available for access.
The “Good Practices” menu will bring successful experiences identified in the area covered by IFAD in Brazil, and new technologies developed with the aim of helping family farmers in the Brazilian semi-arid region. There is also the “My Story” session, which in a more humanized way will tell the life story of these people, showing their experiences and work.
All publications from both Aksaam and partner projects now have a space fully dedicated to them, and can be downloaded for free or read online. Each week a reading tip will be highlighted on the site, making the entire bibliographic production stand out.
First IFAD Knowledge Management application in Brazil is under development
The new website is part of a work by the Aksaam project that will deliver two important knowledge management platforms produced by IFAD in Brazil. In addition to the new page, an application is being developed along the same lines as the site, offering quality content to family farmers, technicians and techniques related to family farming in Brazil.
The forecast is that the application, whose name will be chosen through a cultural contest, will be launched at the beginning of March.
